Removal
1. Remove the upper intake manifold.
2. Remove the EGR tube.
3. Disconnect the LH spark plug wire holders.
4. Disconnect the engine control harness from the valve cover studs.
5. Remove the three bolts and the five stud bolts.
6. NOTE: To prevent stretching the valve cover gasket, loosen silicone gasket and sealant from the cylinder head by sliding a flat knife between the
valve cover gasket and cylinder head.
Remove the valve cover.
