Adjustment Procedure, When The Shifter Assembly Requires Removal and Replacement:
1.
Prior to installing the 7E069 shifter assembly, move the transfer case shift lever to the 4L position (lever down as shown by arrow in Figure 8).
2.
Install the 7E069 shifter assembly with bolts A & B finger tight, and move the cam plate rearward until the bottom chamfered corner of the neutral
lug just contacts the forward right edge of the shift lever (see point C in Figure 8).
3.
Complete Steps 4, 5 and 6 above.
