Ranger 4WD L4-153 2.5L SOHC VIN C SFI (2001)
4. Remove the camshaft retainer plate.

Remove the bolts.

Remove the retainer plate.
5. Remove the engine support insulator nuts and raise the front of the engine.
6. NOTE: The cylinder head is shown removed from the vehicle for clarity.
Carefully remove the camshaft.
Installation
1. CAUTION: Lubricate the camshaft with Motorcraft Super Premium SAE 5W30 Motor Oil XO-5W30-QSP or equivalent meeting Ford
specification WSS-M2C153-G or engine damage may occur.
