Camshaft Oil Seal: Service and Repair

Camshaft Oil Seal 

Special Tool(s) 

Removal 
 

1. Remove the timing belt outer cover.
2. Remove the timing chain/belt.

3. NOTE:  The camshaft and oil pump shaft seals are replaced in the same manner with the same tools.

Install the Cam Sprocket Holder/Removing Tool.

Remove the bolt.

Remove the camshaft sprocket.

4. Install the Camshaft Seal Remover on the seal.
