Mass Air Flow Sensor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.
3. Disconnect the air intake tube from the MAF sensor.
4. Remove the four bolts and the MAF sensor.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
CAUTION: Do not tamper with the MAF sensing elements located in the airflow bypass. Tampering may result in failure.
NOTE: The MAF sensor module and body are calibrated and installed as a unit.
