Fuel Pressure: Testing and Inspection

STO Connector

1.

Remove fuel tank filler cap.

2.

Release the fuel pressure from the fuel charging system at the Schrader valve on the fuel rail.  

3.

Attach a fuel pressure gauge to the test port of fuel rail (Schrader Valve).

4.

Install test lead to fuel pump lead of Self Test Output (STO) test connector and ground.

5.

Turn Key On Engine Off and check fuel pressure gauge reading. See: Specifications

6.

Remove test lead from STO connector.

7.

Bleed off fuel pressure and remove gauge.
