AIR. MAKE SURE DRUM IS FACING DOWN AS SHOWN. 

NOTE:  The coast clutch piston must apply with air pressure and release when the air is remover

16. Check the free play of the clutch pack. Push down on the clutch pack. Use a feeler gauge to check the gap between the retaining ring and the

pressure plate. Specification: 1.3 to 2.0 mm (.051 to.O79 inch). 

If the reading is not within specification, remove the retaining ring and check the thickness. Replace it with a ring that will correct free play. Verify
with a feeler gauge.

Thickness:  1.73 mm (.0681 inches)
