6. Remove the four retaining bolts and remove the lower steering column opening finish panel reinforcement.

7. Loosen, but do not remove, the four steering column-to-instrument panel retaining bolts enough to remove the upper steering column shroud (two

shown).

8. Remove the lower steering column shroud.

If equipped, remove the tilt wheel handle and shank.

Remove the three screws.
