Ranger 4WD V6-4.0L (2009)
NOTE: The air bag warning indicator illuminates when the correct Restraints Control Module (RCM) fuse is removed and the ignition is ON.
NOTE: The Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) must be fully operational and free of faults before releasing the vehicle to the customer.
1. Remove the backrest assembly. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest - Front, 60 Percent See: Seat Back/Service and Repair/Removal

2. Remove the seat track. For additional information, refer to Seat Track - 60 Percent See: Seat Track/Service and Repair/Seat Track - 60 Percent.
3. Remove the 2 screws and seat track position sensor from the seat track.
4. Release the remaining trim cover J-clips.
5. NOTE: For correct installation, note the routing of the seat back latch release cable through the seat cushion frame.
Release the pin-type retainer and remove the seat backrest latch release cable.
6. Remove the seat cushion frame from the seat cushion foam pad.
7. Remove the rows of hog rings and remove the seat cushion trim cover.
Assembly
1. Position the cushion trim cover to the foam pad and install the rows of hog rings.
2. Install the foam pad and trim cover to the seat cushion frame.
3. Route the seat backrest latch release cable through the cushion frame and install the pin-type retainer.
