Ranger 4WD V6-4.0L (2009)
4. Remove the bracket bolt and the 3 transfer case shift motor bolts, remove the transfer case shift motor.

To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
5. Remove the grease from the motor adapter and inspect for any nicks or burrs. If any damage is found, repair or install a new transfer case shift
motor.
6. NOTE: It may be necessary to rotate the transfer case shift rod to match the shift motor position.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Apply a thin coat of silicone sealant to the transfer case shift motor housing base.
