Detach the accelerator cable from the throttle body and position it to one side. - Detach the accelerator outer cable from the throttle body bracket.
- Detach the accelerator inner cable from the throttle body lever.

Detach the brake booster vacuum pipe from the intake manifold. | | -
Disconnect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose from the intake manifold. - Detach the coolant hose from the retaining clip.

Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector. | | -
Remove the intake manifold lower retaining bolts (engine shown removed for clarity). | | -
Remove the intake manifold. | Installation | -
NOTE:Install a new intake manifold gasket if necessary. Install the intake manifold. | | -
Install the intake manifold lower retaining bolts (engine shown removed for clarity). | | -
Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector. | | -
Connect the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) hose to the intake manifold. | | -
Attach the accelerator cable to the throttle body. - Attach the accelerator inner cable to the throttle body lever.
- Attach the accelerator outer cable to the throttle body bracket.

Attach the brake booster vacuum pipe to the intake manifold. | | |
