Removal and Installation

Removal

  1. Remove the door trim panel. For additional information, refer to Section  501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation.

  1. CAUTION:
    CAUTION:Do not touch self-adhesive surfaces as re-bonding will be impaired.
    Locally peel back the self-adhesive watershield.

  1. Remove the remote control handle retaining screw.

  1. Unclip and detach the remote control handle and cable from the door.

  1. Disconnect the lock actuating cable.
    1. Detach the outer cable.
    1. Disconnect the inner cable.

Installation

  1. Refit the components in reverse order.
