R.H. FRONT OR REAR INSULATOR
1.
On models equipped with man. trans., remove damper nut from right side of engine.
2.
On all models, raise and support vehicle, then support engine with suitable jack and block of wood positioned near insulator.
3.
Remove insulator-to-frame attaching nut,Figs. 1 and 2,then raise engine enough to unload insulator.
4.
Remove insulator-to-engine bracket attaching bolts, then the insulator.
5.
Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Torque insulator-to-engine bracket attaching bolts to 40---55 ft. lbs.
b. Torque insulator-to-frame attaching nut to 55---75 ft. lbs.
c. On models equipped with man. trans., torque damper-to-engine attaching nut to 8---12 ft. lbs.
