If the 1991 or 1992 unit does not already have the new crossover design lube tubes, the differential/speedo lube tube must also be changed.

If replacement of the planetary support assembly is required on a 1991 or later AXODE transaxle, inspect the new planetary support assembly to
see if it has the new design rear lube tube seal. If it does, you must install the new rear lube seal and use the new rear lube tube.
CAUTION:
DO NOT INSTALL A REAR LUBE SEAL IN THE TRANSAXLE CASE WHEN USING THE NEW DESIGN LUBE TUBE AND SEAL.
NOTE:
THE NEW DESIGN LUBE TUBE SHOULD BE INSTALLED INTO THE REAR LUBE SEAL FIRST AND THEN PRESS THE OTHER END
INTO THE CASE.

The new design parts may NOT be used on 1986-1990 model AXOD transaxles because the new design requires a crossover rear lube tube which is
not available for transaxles still using a governor circuit. If the planetary support assembly is replaced in 1986-1990 model AXOD units, the old
design MUST be used (Figure 2).
