Liftgate - Hydraulic Lift/Support Cylinders Rear Window

Removal

1.

Open and support liftgate rear window.

2.

Using a small screwdriver, pry locking spring clip out of upper end of back window lift.

3.

Remove upper end of back window lift from ball stud.

4.

Remove retaining ring and clevis pin retaining back window lift to mounting bracket. Remove back window lift.

Installation

1.

Follow removal procedure in reverse order.

2.

Make sure locking spring clip is pressed in place at upper end of back window lift.
