Taurus V6-182 3.0L VIN 1 FI Flex Fuel (1997)
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Raise and support the vehicle.
2.
Remove the splash shield.
3.
Lower the vehicle.
4.
Remove the radiator draincock, then completely drain and discard cooling system fluid.
5.
Loosen the water pump pulley retaining bolts. Do not remove the bolts at this time.
6.
Remove the drive belt. Refer to Figure 3.
7.
Remove the idler pulley. Refer to Figure 3.
8.
Remove the drive belt tensioner. See Figure 3.
9.
Remove the water pump pulley.
