Powertrain Control Modules (PCM) designed for use in a vehicle equipped with an AX4N transaxle or an AX4S transaxle are not interchangeable.
ACTION:
Read the following statements and refer to the Application Chart for the proper application.
^
If a PCM designed for use in a vehicle equipped with an AX4N transaxle is installed in a vehicle with an AX4S transaxle, TRANSAXLE DAMAGE
WILL OCCUR.

The shift solenoid sequencing between the two transaxles (AX4N or AX4S) are different and requires a different PCM for each application.

Locate the vehicle certification tag located on the driver's side door pillar.
