8. Remove the passenger seat front bolts.
9. Reconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.

10. Position the passenger seat forward.
11. Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait at least one minute. For additional information, refer to Battery.

12. Remove the passenger seat rear nut trim covers.

13. Remove the passenger seat rear nuts.

14. Tilt the passenger seat toward the rear of the vehicle. Disconnect the ten-pin electrical connector.
15. Attach a passenger safety belt pretensioner restraint system diagnostic tool to the ten-pin floor electrical connector.
16. Remove the seat from the vehicle.
17. Remove the passenger air bag. For additional information, refer to Air Bag Systems.
