21. Attach a restraint system diagnostic tool to the vehicle harness side of the passenger air bag electrical connector.
22. Reconnect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to Battery.
23. Prove out the supplemental air bag system. For additional information, refer to Air Bag Systems.
24. Disconnect the battery ground cable and wait at least one minute. For additional information, refer to Battery.
25. Remove the seat backrest. For additional information, refer to Front Seat Backrest-Driver Side.
26. Unclip the J-clip.
27. Position the upholstery and pad, then remove the bolts and latch.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the latch and install the bolts.
