Headliner - Taurus, Sable

NOTE: Vehicle shown with roof opening panel, all other vehicles similar.

Removal and Installation

1. Depower the Supplemental Restraint System (SRS). For additional information, refer to Air Bag Systems.

2. If equipped, remove the DVD system.

3. Remove the LH and RH A-pillar trim panels. For additional information, refer to A-Pillar Trim Panel  See: Trim Panel/Service and

Repair/A-Pillar Trim Panel.

4. Remove the passenger side door check arm.

Remove the 2 door check arm bolts from the body.

-

To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

5. Remove the LH and RH front seats.

6. Remove the front floor console.
