9. Install the driver side D-pillar trim panel.

Verify the safety belt retractor operates without excessive effort or binding.
All vehicles
10. Connect the driver seat side air bag module electrical connector and then slide and engage the seat side air bag electrical connector locking clip.
11. Connect the passenger seat side air bag module electrical connector and then slide and engage the seat side air bag electrical connector locking
clip.
12. NOTE: Taurus X shown, Taurus and Sable similar.
NOTE: RH electrical connector shown, LH electrical connector similar.
Connect the 2 passenger air bag module electrical connectors.
13. Attach the dampening strut to the LH side of glove compartment door.
14. Close glove compartment door.
15. Install the driver air bag module. Refer to Driver Air Bag Module See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and Repair/Driver Air
