3. Remove the power liftgate rod from the liftgate.

All vehicles

4. Remove the liftgate upper trim panel.

Pull the liftgate upper trim panel toward the middle of the liftgate window glass to release the retaining clips.

5. Remove the 4 liftgate trim screws.

6. Remove the liftgate lower trim panel.

-

Pull outward on the liftgate lower trim panel outward to release the retaining clips.

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
