33. Remove and discard the 4 LH catalytic converter-to-exhaust manifold studs.
FWD vehicles
34. Remove the 4 nuts and the RH catalytic converter.

Discard the nuts and the gasket.
35. Remove and discard the 4 RH catalytic converter-to-exhaust manifold studs.
All vehicles
36. Remove the RH cylinder block drain plug or, if equipped, the block heater.
^
Allow coolant to drain from the cylinder block.
