1. Position the seat to its most forward position.
2. Remove the lower B-pillar trim panel.
3. Lower the upper B-pillar trim panel from the headliner.

Remove the screw cover and screw at the top of the upper B-pillar trim panel.

-

Pull the bottom of the B-pillar trim panel to release the lower retainer clips.

-

Lower the upper B-pillar trim panel from the headliner.

4. Remove the D-ring bolt and position aside the D-ring.

-

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

5. Remove the safety belt shoulder height adjuster bolt.

-

To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

6. Rotate the safety belt shoulder height adjuster and unhook from the B-pillar.

7. NOTE:  Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

8. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
