On some 1984 Tempo/Topaz vehicles built before 5-12-83 the console ash receptacle may pull completely out with a slight side load applied. A slight
side load will cause the ash receptacle to by-pass the stop and come out of the console.

Remove the ash receptacle from console and install a blind rivet (part number 376807-S or procure locally) on the. L.H. side of ash receptacle as shown
on Figure 2.
