LINCOLN-MERCURY 1984 TOPAZ
A new speed control actuator cable has been released for use on 1984 Tempo/Topaz vehicles equipped with speed control. The new actuator cable has a
bead chain end which attaches to the carburetor linkage. The locking pin must be removed for adjusting the actuator cable to proper tension.
The procedure for adjusting the new actuator for proper tension is outlined below:
