Some vehicles experiencing a battery drain or no start condition may be caused by the glove compartment light remaining on after the door is closed.
To service this concern on Escort/Lynx/EXP and Tempo/Topaz. Align the bracket and switch assembly so that the plunger will hit the stopper on the
glove compartment door. Then retighten the attaching screw.
