Work the insulator around and down the spring until the end of the insulator butts up to the step in the spring seat (Figure 8).

5.

Coat the last one or two inches of the inside diameter of the insulator (the end of the insulator the furthest from the lower tip of spring) with Ford
Rubber Cement (8A-19552-B).

6.

Tightly secure the cemented end with a plastic banding strap (part number 95874-S or equivalent) (Figure 8).

7.

Trim excess material from banding strap and lower vehicle to the ground.
