Remove the alignment pins and install the remaining two (2) bolts. Tighten the valve body bolts to 8.1-9.3 N-m (72-82 lb. in.) in the sequence
shown in Figure 8.
9.
Loosen the PARK/NEUTRAL position switch retaining bolts.
a.
With the manual valve in NEUTRAL position, insert a No. 43 bit drill (0.089") through the PARK/NEUTRAL position switch.
b.
Push the drill bit through the switch until it seats against the case, Figure 9.
c.
Tighten the switch retaining bolts to 9-12 N-m (7-9 lb.ft.) and remove the drill bit.
