Orange or yellow wiper blade protectors have been installed on new vehicles to prevent wiper blade set and contamination while the vehicle is in new car
storage and before it is sold. Prior to delivering the vehicle to a customer the blade protectors must be removed as illustrated in Figure 4.

CAUTION: OPERATING THE WIPERS WITHOUT REMOVING THE BLADE PROTECTORS CAN SCRATCH THE WINDSHIELD IF THERE

IS ANY DIRT OR GRIT ON THE WINDSHIELD.
