Some vehicles may be equipped with a foam insert as an integral part of the steering wheel. When removing or installing the steering wheel and/or
vibration damper assembly, this foam insert must be installed in the steering wheel using the following procedure.
Removal
1.
Disconnect negative battery ground cable.

Remove horn pad cover by removing two or four screws from the back of the steering wheel assembly. Figure 4.
