HEATER CORE
NOTE: Vehicles may be equipped with an aluminum or a copper brass heater core. In all cases, replacement cores are copper brass. It is essential to
positively identify the type of core being replaced because aluminum cores use different heater core-to-heater case seals (Fig.19) than the copper brass
cores. Having the correct seal is essential for satisfactory performance of the heater system.
