Front Door Exterior Handle: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

Passenger and driver door

1. Position the window to the full up position.
2. Remove the door trim panel.

3. Remove the water shield.

4. Disconnect the exterior door handle actuating rod.

Release the clip.

Disconnect the actuating rod.

Driver door

5. If equipped, position the door lock cylinder aside.

Remove the clip.
