Parking Pawl: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

Parking Pawl Replacement

1. Slide parking pawl shaft out of rear of case and remove parking pawl.
2. Remove return spring.

INSTALLATION

1. Hook squared end of spring into notch on park pawl.
2. Hold pawl and spring in place and hook curved end of spring into recess in case.
3. Install park pawl shaft.
