Thunderbird V8-4.6L VIN W (1997)
4. Disconnect the accelerator cable at the throttle body lever by inserting a screwdriver between the accelerator cable and the throttle body lever and
giving a twist.
5. Remove the accelerator cable housing to accelerator cable mounting bracket retaining bolt.
NOTE: Disconnect speed control actuator cable from the accelerator cable, if equipped.
6. To install, reverse Removal procedure and make sure accelerator cable movement is not restricted. Tighten accelerator cable to accelerator cable
mounting bracket retaining bolt to 5-7 Nm (45-61 lb in).
