Drive Belt - Alternator (Diesel) - Remove And Install (31 413 0)

Removal and Installation

Remove

CAUTION:

Disconnect the battery negative lead.

1. Release the tension of the drive belt.

Loosen the bolts as indicated.

2. Remove the power steering and air conditioning drive belt if fitted.

3. Remove the drive belt.

Carefully feed the drive belt between the cooling fan and the radiator shroud.

Install

4. Loosely fit the new alternator drive belt.

5. Refit the power steering and air conditioning drive belts as necessary.

6. Tension the alternator drive belt.

Dimension A = 4mm.

7. Reconnect the battery negative lead.
