Removal and Installation
Remove

CAUTION:

Note the position of spacers and paper washers. Make sure these are correctly positioned for installation.

CAUTION:

Use pretensioner disarming pin to disarm the seat belt pretensioner mechanism, to prevent accidental triggering of the mechanism during repair operations.
1. Disarm the outer seat belt pretensioner mechanism (if equipped).
2. Tip the seat forwards.

3. Remove the outer seat belt pretensioner (if equipped).
   Remove the Torx retaining screw.

4. Remove the outer standard seat belt stalk.
   Remove the Torx retaining screw.
All vehicles

5. Remove the lap belt.
• Remove the Torx retaining screw.
• Separate the lap belt from the seat catch mechanism and feed the belt through the seat.

6. Remove the lap belt stalk.
Install

CAUTION:

Do not remove the pretensioner disarm clip, if fitted, until the stalk is fully refitted.
7. Refit the components in reverse order.
   Ensure that the seat catch functions correctly upon completion.
