Disconnect the battery ground cable.
For additional information, refer to: Battery Disconnect and Connect (414-01 Battery, Mounting and Cables, General Procedures).

Remove the exhaust gas recirculation valve (EGR).

Detach the camshaft position sensor (CMP) from the intake manifold.

Remove the intake manifold.

Disconnect the glow plug electrical connector.

Remove the retaining bolt from the glow plug wire terminal block.

Disconnect the glow plug electrical connectors and remove the glow plug wire.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
