CAUTION:The brake fluid reservoir cap must not become contaminated. Remove the brake fluid reservoir cap. | | | -
Using a suitable syringe, remove brake fluid from the brake fluid reservoir until the brake fluid level is at the MIN mark. | Vehicles built up to 04/2002 | | -
Remove the clutch slave cylinder bleed nipple dust cap. | | | -
Install the special tool. - Fill the reservoir of the special tool with approximately 100 ml of new Super DOT 4 brake fluid.
- Connect the reservoir hose to the clutch slave cylinder bleed nipple.

NOTE:Do not remove the spring clip. Open the clutch slave cylinder bleed nipple. - Pull the spring clip to the first stage.
- Pull back the clutch slave cylinder pressure line.

Using the special tool, bleed the clutch system. | | | -
NOTE:Make sure that the spring clip is correctly seated. Close the clutch slave cylinder bleed nipple. - Push the clutch pressure supply line backwards.
- Push the spring clip backwards.

Install the clutch slave cylinder bleed nipple dust cap. | Vehicles built 04/2002 onwards | | -
Remove the clutch slave cylinder bleed nipple dust cap. | | | -
Using the special tool, bleed the clutch system. - Fill the reservoir of the special tool with approximately 100 ml of new Super DOT 4 brake fluid.
- Connect the reservoir hose to the clutch slave cylinder bleed nipple.
- Loosen the clutch slave cylinder bleed nipple.
- Pump approximately 60 ml of the brake fluid into the clutch system.

Tighten the clutch slave cylinder bleed nipple. | | | -
Install the clutch slave cylinder bleed nipple dust cap. | All vehicles | | -
Depress the clutch pedal at least 10 times. | | | -
Install the brake fluid reservoir cap. | |
