Removal and Installation Two leg puller M6 x 30 mm bolt Spacer shim Removal | -
Pull off the connector from the A/C compressor clutch. | | -
Detach the wiring harness from the A/C compressor bracket. | | -
Remove the A/C compressor retaining bolts. | | -
Detach the refrigerant line bracket from the A/C compressor bracket. | | -
CAUTION:Support the A/C compressor before removing the retaining bolts and secure it at one side to prevent loading of the refrigerant lines. Detach the A/C compressor from the A/C compressor bracket. | | -
Remove the A/C compressor drive plate. | | -
Remove the A/C compressor pulley. - Remove and discard the snap ring.

NOTE:Mark the position of the compressor clutch connector in relation to the compressor housing. Using a suitable two leg puller, remove the clutch field coil. | Installation | -
NOTE:Do not tilt the clutch field coil when installing it in the A/C compressor. Using a M6 x 30 mm bolt, a suitable washer and the A/C compressor drive plate, install the clutch field coil. | | -
Remove the M6 x 30 mm bolt, washer and compressor drive plate. | | -
NOTE:Install a new A/C compressor pulley snap ring. Install the A/C compressor pulley. | | -
Install the A/C compressor drive plate. | | -
Attach the A/C compressor to the A/C compressor bracket. | | -
Attach the refrigerant line bracket to the A/C compressor bracket. | | -
Install the A/C compressor retaining bolts. | | -
Attach the wiring harness to the A/C compressor bracket. | | -
Fit the A/C compressor clutch connector. | | |
