Description and Operation - Various foamed components are fitted to the A, B and C-pillars to reduce noise.
- Sound deadening elements are installed to reduce the size of cavities and prevent resonance. This has been made possible by the development of new sound deadening technologies and the use of hybrid materials. In service these elements must be preserved by employing equally effective alternative solutions.
- Ford-specific sound deadening and insulating materials are used in all other areas.
