Uni-Body, Subframe and Mounting System - Body Misalignment Check Transit 2000.5 (01/2000-05/2006)
General Procedures

  1. When carrying out straightening operations or changing individual components, the indicated nominal dimensions can be used for guidance (tolerance ± 3 mm).
  1. NOTE:
    NOTE:Checking the body dimensions cannot take the place of the usual fitting operations.
    Repeated installation and removal of trim components (e.g. doors, glass, crossmember, etc.) to check body dimensional accuracy can be reduced as a result.
  1. Body dimensions - front view: All the dimensions are subject to a tolerance of ± 3 mm. All the measurements were taken from the middle of the hole or edge of the panel using a beam trammel set up symmetrically.
    • 1 - 2 = 1826 mm; 3 - 4 = 822 mm; 5 - 6 = 1605 mm; 7 - 8 = 1485 mm; 9 - 10 = 1106 mm; 11 - 12 = 1106 mm; 9 - 12 = 1212 mm; 13 - 14 = 1062 mm

  1. Body dimensions - side view: All the dimensions are subject to a tolerance of ± 3 mm. All the measurements were taken from the middle of the hole or edge of the panel using a beam trammel set up symmetrically.
    • 15 - 16 = 1347 mm; 17 - 18 = 1281 mm; 19 - 20 = 1710 mm (high roof only); 21 - 22 = 980 mm; 23 - 24 = 1450 mm; 22 - 25 = 1250 mm

  1. Body dimensions - interior: All the dimensions are subject to a tolerance of ± 3 mm. All the measurements were taken from the middle of the hole or edge of the panel using a beam trammel set up symmetrically.
    • 26 - 27 = 1675 mm; 28 - 29 = 1702 mm; 30 - 31 = 1285 mm; 32 - 33 = 1725 mm

  1. Body dimensions - rear view. All the dimensions are subject to a tolerance of ± 3 mm. All the measurements were taken from the middle of the hole or edge of the panel using a beam trammel set up symmetrically.
    • 34 - 35 = 1452 mm; 36 - 37 = 1610 mm; 38 - 39 = 1645 mm; 40 - 41 = 1650 mm; 42 - 43 = 1574 mm; 34 - 41 = 2149 mm
