Removal
1. Remove the halfshaft. For additional information, refer to Halfshaft - LH See: Service and Repair/Halfshaft - LH or Halfshaft - RH See: Service
and Repair/Halfshaft - RH.
2. Secure the halfshaft in a soft-jawed vise.

Cut, remove and discard the inner CV joint boot clamps.

Remove the inner CV joint housing.
3. Remove and discard the tripod circlip.
4. Using a suitable 3 jaw puller, remove the tripod.

Remove and discard the CV joint boot.
