Clamp Positioning
Boot Clamp Tightening
9. On inboard driveshaft joint boot, position boot clamp as shown.
10. On both driveshaft joint boots, tighten boot clamp using boot clamp pliers D87P-0.098-A, or equivalent.
11. Install new retainer circlip in groove nearest end of interconnecting shaft, noting the following:
a. Do not reuse retainer circlips. Replace with new retainer circlips before assembly.
b. Start one end in groove and work retainer circlip over interconnecting shaft and into groove.
