Windstar V6-3.8L VIN 4 (1997)
Alignment: Testing and Inspection
Examine the vehicle for indications of abnormal attitude, such as the front or rear being higher or lower than normal. Any heavy items in cargo area or
passenger compartments such as tool boxes, sample cases or other items should be removed before checking wheel alignment.
If vehicle attitude is not normal and no unusual load is present, check for signs of damaged or nonstandard replacement suspensions parts.
Ford does not provide ride height specifications for 1995-1998 Windstars. For vehicles equipped with Rear Air Suspension systems, refer to Ride
Height Sensor, Suspension Control under Sensors and Switches - Suspension. See: Sensors and Switches/Sensors and Switches - Steering and
Suspension/Sensors and Switches - Suspension/Ride Height Sensor
