Hose/Line HVAC: Service and Repair
A/C Discharge Hose/Line
NOTE: Whenever a refrigerant line is replaced, it will be necessary to replace the suction accumulator/drier.
REMOVAL
1. Recover refrigerant from A/C system. See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and Repair/Discharging and Recovery
2. Locate A/C compressor to condenser discharge line.
3. Disconnect and remove A/C compressor to condenser discharge line from between A/C condenser core and A/C manifold and tube, using
disconnect procedure for spring lock coupling.
INSTALLATION
1. Route new A/C compressor to condenser discharge line with protective caps installed.
2. Connect A/C compressor to condenser discharge line into system using new O-ring seals lubricated with clean specified refrigerant oil.
3. Leak test, evacuate and charge refrigerant system following recommended service procedures. Observe safety precautions.
