Compressor/Pump Relay: Description and Operation

The solid-state compressor relay is needed because the generic electronic module (GEM) cannot directly provide the high current needed to run the
compressor motor.
It operates as follows:
^

The GEM grounds Circuit 420 (DB/Y) to energize the relay. When energized, the relay connects Circuit 364 (BK/LG) to Circuit 417 (P/O).

^

High current then flows from battery to the compressor motor.
