Oil Change Reminder Lamp: Service and Repair
Resetting the oil indicator light on vehicles without steering wheel buttons:
Reset ASSYST after engine oil change (oil change reset) on instrument cluster.

Turn the ignition to the ON/RUN position (do not start the vehicle).

WITHIN ONE SECOND, Press M Button repeatedly until the service symbol and the current remaining distance, the remaining time or service
exceeded is displayed.

WITHIN TEN SECONDS,Turn the ignition to the OFF/LOCK position while still holding the M button.

Turn the key to ON/RUN again. The present status for days or distance is displayed once again. Continue to hold the M button.

After approximately 10 seconds, a signal sounds and the display shows 16,000 km (10,000 miles) for approximately 10 seconds. Release the M
button.
The current remaining distance is shown on the instrument cluster.
If the ASSYST counter was inadvertently reset have an authorized Sprinter Dealer correct it.

Within one second press the service selection button repeatedly until the instrument cluster display shows the "Total and trip odometer" basic
display.

Press the scroll forward/back button until the service symbol and the current remaining distance, the remaining time or service exceeded is
displayed.

Press the reset button on the instrument cluster until the display on the instrument cluster shows the message "Reset service interval"?

Confirm the message "Rest service interval"? with the reset button on the instrument cluster. If the reset button on the instrument cluster is pressed
again, the message "Service interval was reset" is shown.
If the ASSYST counter was inadvertently reset have an authorized Sprinter Dealer correct it.
