Loosen cable locknut and adjusting nut at cable retaining bracket on transaxle.
2. Accelerator control cable end play until it is within specification. Be sure to tighten cable locknut and adjusting nut alter adjustment is complete.

Reinstall cable protector around cable at transaxle.
