Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair
REMOVAL:
1.
Disconnect negative battery cable.
2.
Disconnect IAT Sensor connector.
3.
Remove IAT Sensor from air intake manifold.
INSTALLATION:
1.
Coat threads (only) with sealer P/N 1052080 or equivalent.
2.
Install IAT Sensor in manifold and tighten to 30 N-m (22 lb. ft.).
3.
Connect sensor connector securely.
4.
Connect negative battery cable.
